The V40 Series rim exit device is secure and durable, Grade 1 panic and fire exit hardware (fire rated) at an economical price. It is designed for use on all types of single and double doors with mullions. The patented mounting plate and strike locator system ensures the easiest and most accurate installation of panic hardware available.

Product details of the Detext V40-EB Panic Exit Device  

Application:	Designed for primary and secondary exits that require an (audible) alarmed panic exit device. Alarm will sound when someone attempts to exit, alerting management to the unauthorized exit.
Size	For use on 36" and 48" doors that are 1 3/4" - 2 1/4" thick.
Field Sizeable:	Yes, you can field-size the device to fit most door sizes.
Material & Finish:	Clear anodized aluminum (628) & Painted black (two-tone appearance).  See image shown above.
Alarm:	Powered by a standard 9-volt battery (EB) - battery included.
Dogging:	Hex dogging on non-fire rated devices only.
Options:	3-Hour fire rated (F) - no dogging allowed.
	Rim cylinder (no pull trim) - required for exterior access.
	# 03P-628 pull trim with rim cylinder (image shown above) - required for exterior access.
	Mortise cylinder - required to arm/disarm the alarm.
