EXISTING MASONRY WALL ANCHOR - BUTTERFLY ANCHOR

For use in HM frames for installation as a butted install against an existing masonry walls.

WALL ANCHOR DETAILS:

»  For use w/ HM (hollow metal) steel frames.

»  16 gauge A40 galv. steel reinforcement bracket.
»  EMA - Existing Masonry Anchor used for a butted application against masonry walls.

»  Typically used with a 3/8" expansion bolt sleeve anchor.

INSTALLATION METHOD:

»  1.  Install into throat of HM frame by welding process by a licensed welder.  

»  2.  All welds must be touched-up with commercial quality primer.

»  3.  The EMA anchor bracket does not come with pultrusion dimples for spot-welding.

* Please note:

»  That this wall anchor is a reinforcement bracket that required a punch-out or a punch & dimple prep through the stop of the frame for the expansion bolt (sleeve anchor) to go through.  Diagram and images are for illustration purpose only and actual product may vary, but application, function and installation will be remain same.
