FORMS OF PAYMENT:
All of our sales are facilitated via a secure server (256 bit ssl v2/v3) via our website, which is hosted by Yahoo!, the most trusted source in Ecommerce. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Sorry, no COD's, no money orders and no checks.
Three very important points not to forget when shipping is considered:
1. Delivery occurs only on business days, Monday through Friday.
2. Weekends, holidays or the day of pick-up are not considered transit time.
3. We will not ship product to a residential address unless that address is also the billing address. Therefore, if your billing address differs from the shipping address, the shipping address MUST be a commercial address.
As long as we have the products in stock, your order will leave our warehouse within 1-2 business days. In most cases it will take 2-8 business days to arrive (depending on the destination and shipping option) from the day your order is shipped, NOT from the day your order is placed. Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are NOT considered business days.
For all orders: The customer is responsible for receipt of items shipped from our warehouse. If we receive a package back from the shipper because time has passed and delivery was not coordinated by the customer, we will contact the buyer of the order for payment on re-shipment at your expense (based on shipping method and current pricing as posted on our site) with an additional $15 handling charge.
All goods are invoiced F.O.B. point of origin. The products become the property of the Buyer, who assumes the risk, loss or damage in transit at the time material ships-out from the point of origin. It is at the discretion and expense of MDI to change carriers as we see-fit on a per order basis. The customer will not be charged any additional shipping or handling charges beyond the amount which appears on their order at check-out.
INSPECTION & CLAIM:
You are required to inspect all product(s) received at time of receipt. Claims made due to errors, damage, shortages or non-conformance of products listed must be made within 24 hours of receipt of material. MDI Supply will not recognize any claims involving third party shipments.
EFFECT OF YOUR FAILURE TO SEND NOTICE:
In the event of your failure or omission to send us a notification of claimed weight or number discrepancy, or of any claimed breach of warranty, it will be conclusive between us that the materials delivered to you were properly delivered as to quantity, number or weight and in conformance with descriptions and warranties, if any.
Any order $1,000 (product amount) or more is not returnable (in part or whole).
Any door with a Dead Lock Prep or a Frame with a Dead Lock Strike Prep is not returnable.
Fire Labeled Doors & Frames are not returnable.
Electrified Hardware items are not returnable.
For orders that are eligible to be returned they must be less than $1,000 (product) in value and:
MDISupply.com offers its customers fourteen (14) Days to make a return.
Details of our Fourteen (14) Day Return/Refund:
You have up to fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods to return your unopened, unused product(s) for a refund, less a 25% Restocking Charge, excluding any shipping/handling charges. Shipping/handling charges will not be refunded. Special order or Custom made items are not returnable and are excluded from any return policy. Items that are noted as a "close-out," "discontinued" or "Surplus Items" are also are hereby excluded from any return policy.
Exchanges or returns will not be accepted after fourteen (14) calendar days from date you received the items. DO NOT return any item(s) without first obtaining an RGA Number. If we do receive any returned item without an RGA Number no credit will be offered.
Exchanges, credits or refunds will be honored only if accompanied by an original MDI Supply receipt or invoice (Proof of Purchase). Credits or refunds will be made within fourteen days of return (after MDI inspection & approval). MDI reserves the right to limit the quantity of items returned on a “per-order” basis. All returned or exchanged goods must be delivered to MDI’s warehouse with the shipping charges “prepaid” and are subject to inspection and review.
In order to return any product, you must contact us first via email at email@example.com to receive instructions on how to return your products, where to ship them to and to receive a Return Authorization Number. Do not just send us your return without contacting us first to obtain the proper Return Number and instructions. Any return received without the proper paperwork and Return Number will not be recognized.
If items have been opened, installed, used, scratched, dented, etc. we are unable to accept them for return. If you received the incorrect item with your order or if your order was damaged during shipment please do not open or use the item. Contact us immediately so we can assist in resolving the issue expeditiously.
You must be available to receive your order to be signed for. You do require all shipments to be signed for. We will not deviate from this policy. You may also have your order shipped to your workplace. We do not ship orders to PO boxes.
Once we receive your unopened, returned items we will inspect and upon approval we will issue a refund. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and we do not pay for return shipping. We strongly recommend that you insure your return for the full value of the material. If we do not receive it, we cannot credit you for it. Once we have received your return with the proper paperwork and RGA Number, we will refund the total order price minus original shipping, handling charges and possibly restocking charges.
All orders are subject to inventory availability verification. There may be cases where you have been able to order a product from our site and we will run out of stock before we can update the site and make the product "Currently out of stock." In the event of this case, our customer service department will contact you to notify you, and ask if you would like to wait for the order to become available, or to cancel your order with us. You may also have the other products from your order shipped separately, and we will send the backordered item when it arrives at our warehouse. We will always do our best to make sure our customers receive their orders in a timely fashion.
Occasionally our warehouses will run out of stock on certain items. If you have purchased a product that has run out, our customer service department will contact you via e-mail or phone to ask if you would like to wait for the item to come in, or to remove this item from your order. You will not be charged for items that do not ship to you, however if you choose to have the items shipped separately, there may be additional shipping charges added. MDISupply.com makes no claim of warranty of any kind whatsoever of beyond that of a products respective manufacturer. We will do our best to assist in facilitating any warranty claim for our customers in a professional and timely manner if given ample time to do so.
Within the warranty period MDI agrees to repair or replace, at the sole discretion of MDI Supply management, such goods which are returned to Metropolitan with shipping charges “prepaid” and which are determined by MDI and/or the respective manufacturer, to be defective. This warranty shall not apply to any goods that have not been “paid-in-full” or that have been not been properly painted (or finished), subjected to misuse, negligence, accident, alteration, not being used for the hardware that it was prepared for (doors & frames), not being used for its intended purpose, wear and tear or have suffered water damage, stains or rust after delivery.
A consumer always has the right to go direct to the product manufacturer and present the warranty claim to them. For any and all warranty claims you must send us the following so we can assist in processing your claim:
1. A legible copy of your invoice or packing slip.
2. A written explanation for the basis of your warranty claim.
3. The defective product in question and its packaging complete, including the instructions or paperwork.
If the product in question is installed and there is a problem, please write a detailed explanation of the problem and email us some digital pictures showing the exact problem.
DISCLAIMER: LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Except as set forth in the Warranty paragraph, no warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or other warranty, express, implied or statutory, nor any affirmation of fact or promise is made by MDI Supply with respect to the goods which are sold pursuant hereto. MDI shall not be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses, directly or indirectly arising from the sale, handling or use of the goods, or from any other cause relating thereto, and MDI’s liability hereunder in any case is expressly limited to the replacement (in the form originally shipped) of goods not complying with the agreement or, at Metropolitans’ election, to crediting Buyer with an amount equal to the purchase price of such goods, whether such claims are for breach of warranty, negligence or otherwise.

THE MDI SUPPLY COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY:
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
INVOICE IS FINAL AND CONCLUSIVE:
The invoice, in the absence of any claim or error made in writing within 24 hours from the date of shipment, shall be final and conclusive as to the terms and conditions of our understanding and sale.
DEFAULT OF PAYMENT:
In the event of default in payment of this order or any part thereof, causing the account to be referred to an attorney or a collection agency, the Buyer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and attendant collection costs.
All dimensions and or specifications shall be subject to standard commercial tolerances unless otherwise specified by the Buyer and provided that MDI Supply does not object to any such specifications.
MDI Supply makes no warranty that the goods will be delivered free of the right of claim of any third party by way of infringement or there like. Buyer shall notify MDI if making, using or selling the goods will constitute infringement of any proprietary right and Buyer shall indemnify and defend seller, its successors and assigns against all liabilities, expenses and damages resulting from all claim or infringement or any proprietary right. If MDI, in its sole discretion, that making, using or selling the goods will result in the infringement of any proprietary right, MDI reserves the right to withdraw the quotation and to cancel this agreement, without any liability on the part of MDI.
TIME OF DELIVERY:
Quoted delivery dates are MDI’s best estimate of when the goods will be shipped. MDI assumes no liability for losses, expenses, incidental or consequential damages due to delays or failure to deliver.
NON-DELIVERY OR NON-PEFORMANCE:
MDI Supply shall not be liable for any failure to deliver or otherwise perform hereunder when delivery has been made impractical by fire, embargo, strike, difference with employees, accidents, Acts of God, inability to secure materials from usual sources of supply or any circumstances beyond Metropolitan’s reasonable control, either of the foregoing nature or of other nature.
No back-charges will be accepted of any kind whatsoever for material or labor, without prior written approval from management at MDI.
When purchase is approved, you and your employer have agreed with the prices, payment terms, lead time, delivery method, manufacturer’s, product model numbers, finish, specifications, and Terms & Conditions, without retention.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the MDI Supply website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

This agreement and the Terms/Conditions stated herein contain the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and any representation, promise, condition, affirmation of fact, course of prior dealing and usage of trade not incorporated herein shall not be binding on either party.
