Design Hardware 1000R Rim Exit Device - Grade 1 Heavy Duty
The Design Hardware 1000R Rim Exit Devices present a simple, heavy-duty, easily installed solution where high quality panic and fire listed hardware is needed. Used for high impact applications such as schools, universities and other institutional or commercial buildings, the 1000R series exit devices are available with trim options.

- Designed for wide stile doors
- Heavy Duty Extruded Anodized Aluminum Channel & Steel Chassis
- Non-handed - completely reversible
- Deadlocking latch bolt with 5/8″ projection
- UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware
- UL Listed for “A” Label 3 Hour Fire Doors
- Meets ADA requirements ANSI A117.1 with Lever Trim
- Meets & Exceeds ANSI A156.3 – Grade 1 Standards

Projection: Projection: 3 3/8″ Undogged – Pushbar Neutral & 2 13/16″ Dogged – Pushbar Depressed
Fasteners: Wood, Machine & Self Tapping Machine Screws (F1000R includes thru bolts)
UL Listed: Yes, for use on labeled fire doors - Fire Exit Hardware (optional)
Sounding Alarm: Sounding alarm kit is available to prevent unauthjporized exiting
ANSI/BHMA: Meets & Exceeds ANSI A156.3 – Grade 1 Standards
Latchbolt: Deadlocking latch bolt with 5/8″ projection
Dogging: 5/32" Hex key dogging standard on panic; Not available on fire rated (FEH) 
Handed: Non-Handed.

EXIT ONLY - No exterior trim.  Nothing outside (no lever, no cylinder).
KIL-PASS - Passage lever function (lever always unlocked/always free to get in). 
KIL-ENT - Entry lever Function (key locks/unlocks lever). 
KIL-ENT-SFIC - Entry lever Function (key locks/unlocks lever) open for SFIC.*
KIL-STOR - Storeroom lever function (lever always locked/always need a key to get in). 
KIL-STOR-SFIC - Storeroom lever function (lever always locked/always need a key to get in) open for SFIC.*
DFP-03NL - Double finger pull handle w/ cylinder included.
LE-08-ENT - Entry lever x escutcheon w/ mortise cylinder included.
LE-08-PASS - Passage lever x escutcheon (lever always unlocked/always free to get in). 

* NOTES:  
When SFIC is ordered levers are shipped less IC core.  IC core supplied by others.

When stainless steel finish is chosen, KIL-levers are shipped as 626/US26D (satin chrome).  Design Hardware does not make the lever trim in satin stainless steel.
